The museum is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. The columns and roof of the 90-meter glass-walled space, named “interstitial space,” are constructed of wood. The roof structure is structured with the city emblem of Toyota City and consists of an angled lattice of large beams (120 x 540 mm) with small beams (120 x 390 mm) . Node.Fastener（angled beam-receiving connectors）and Node.Rigid were used on the large beams of this roof structure. Node.Rigid are customized to fit beams that hang at an angle to the plane.
