Wooden Infill Placed in Existing Building

This office room with an abundance of wooden textures was realized in a more than 40-year old RC office building. 90×90mm Japanese cypress logs form the partitions. The lights are attached to the 90×90mm beams. STROOG constructed this office room by using a simple method of building precut materials with pre-installed connectors into the room and hammering drift pins at the site. Furthermore, their column foot connectors with height adjustment capability realized a high-precision infill structure that absorbs the unevenness of the floor slab.
