Planned on a small, lush site on Awaji Island, this med to large-scale building is a hybrid structure of wood and steel frames. The building has a shorter end of 7.2m and a longer end of 90m. Half of the building is suspended by two steel lattice column bases with wooden vierendeel on the first floor allowing 21m span. To realize this wooden structure, the connector Node.Rigid for the rahmen joints with Stroog.LSB was used. The connectors were used not only as ready made products, but also customized according to the the fitting structure and bearing capacity required in this case, and its bearing capacity performance was confirmed by Stroog.test.
